[TOPO token]

One token, three jobs.

TOPO is the utility token of the Topo Network. Operators stake it to serve traffic, teams can pay for inference with it at a 20% discount, and holders will use it to govern network parameters.

  • 20% off inference
  • Network governance
[Utility]

What TOPO is used for.

Three roles inside the protocol. Each one is documented and works the same way for everyone.

  • 01

    Stake to serve

Every node operator stakes TOPO before it receives traffic. The stake is collateral for every response the node signs and caps the value it can serve at once.

    Minimum stake
    2,500 TOPO per GPU

  • 02

    Pay for inference

Pay in TOPO and every token costs 20% less. The discount stacks with your plan discount, and the conversion rate used is written on each receipt.

    Govern the network

TOPO holders will propose and vote on network parameters such as fees, verification sample rates and region onboarding.

[Pay in TOPO]

Pay in TOPO, save 20%.

Set TOPO on a single request or make it your wallet's default. The discount applies to every model and stacks with your plan.

TOPO moves with the market. Keep some USDT in your wallet as a fallback: when the TOPO balance runs out, requests settle in USDT automatically.

[Staking and slashing]

Stake is collateral, not yield.

Operators earn from the tokens they serve, up to 85% of the bill, paid in USDT. Their TOPO stake is what they put at risk if a response fails verification.

How verification works
  1. 01

    Stake

The operator stakes TOPO from the dashboard or the CLI before the node receives any traffic.

  2. 02

    Serve

The router sends the node requests up to the value its stake can cover.

  3. 03

    Verify

Independent attestors re-run a sample of the node's requests: 20% in its first 7 days, 2% once established.

  4. 04

    Slash

An output the attestors reject costs 5% of the stake. Three incidents in 30 days remove the node from routing.

  5. 05

    Unbond

Stake stays locked for 14 days after the node stops serving, then it can be withdrawn.
